As part of our great adventure of finding places to show our work, Shannon entered us in the call that went out last fall from the Loveland Public Library.
And that was just the beginning of the fun ---- they liked some of our pieces ---- but here things got murky ---- they would only accept for display those of us that actually lived in Colorado (in truth, their call for entry could be a bit clearer on this point!)
So, Betty sent the two pieces to me and I delivered them to the library, where they will continue to hang until September 29.
Yesterday I was in Loveland for a meeting, so I went into the library and took pictures of Sandra's piece (top) and mine.
They are inside glass cases, which is wonderful for keeping them clean and "un-mauled", but not so great for getting good photos!
Wanted to share them with you all anyway.
When the pieces come down the end of the month, I'll go fetch them and send them on to the next place they need to go.
