Fractures and Fissures complete - Once a Mighty River

 Sliding in here at the last minute

I struggled with finishing this piece -- it was a piece that my husband and I worked on together in terms of the message to be conveyed, so the last steps were accompanied with some tears

Climate change is something I feel strongly about, and that is reflected in many of my pieces

This piece, titled "Once a Mighty River" is based on a photograph of a riverbed that is now fractured by drought.
