Time to start facing "the facing". All the quilting is done. If you need pointers on quilting burlap, give me a call. My best advice, have some tranquilizers on hand and do it a little bit at a time. I managed to make up a few new expletives this past week.
I decided to use burlap as the background for this quilt because it evoked the rough texture of stucco and adobe and the color was perfect. I like the way the silk peppers turned out.
Now it's time for adding the facing and the sleeve. I'll have the quilt photographed and posted before the end of March!!
