In the beginning
Painted a canvas using mixed media and printed it on 2 yards of kona cotton of my design.

Top layer ready for next step. I will be cutting through it to reveal the pieced layer. I usually work in curves so this will be interesting as I make vertical slivers. I am going to try to piece in some mirrored paper but not sure yet how it will go, Oh well, its the journey!
This is looking fantastic! I love the visible brush strokes!
