The Beauty IS The Beast

In the State of Arizona, everything has a stinger or a thorn!  That's part of the unseen beauty and mystery of the Desert Southwest.  The summer wind and the summer monsoon rains are filled with painful spikes of hot air, lightning and dust.  Even in the spring, when the desert is blooming, the flowers are so pretty, so fragile, so tempting to touch.  But watch out for the bees and the spines—they are still there, just hidden in the beauty of the moment.

  1. This is fantastic! I love the colors in the stem structure; the little pops of orange and blue are great! And the perspective adds a lot of interest!
