I'm finally over the flu and the quilt show for which I was designing the floor plan and layout has happened and so I find myself with the time to begin my thorns and spikes piece. As you can see, it's in the early stages, but I am ready to attach my "thorns" to the background (right now the pieces are pinned to a Teflon sheet) and start quilting. Yay! Stay tuned for progress reports.
This is so cool looking; I love how much depth is added by the pops of yellow and teal!
