The Way Less Traveled complete

finished stitching the artist binding last night

still needs a final press and some "official" photographs, but it's done

I decided that "The Way Less Traveled" seemed appropriate for a railroad track full of spiky plants

time to think about trees!

    Oh Yay! It's always so exciting to be done. I love the dry-feeling colors, it feels like home. And your transparency effects are really cool. Is that changes in piecing or applique of sheers?

      the entire back layer is needle turn applique with a layer of silk organza over it and a lot of quilting work, then the plants and rail road tracks are appliqued over the silk and more quilting is done
